Brief Description

Welcome to the first annual East Beach Run Swim Run and 5K. This event consists of a 5K run through the beautiful East Beach neighborhood in Norfolk, followed by a 1K swim in the Chesapeake Bay and finished off with another 5K run. The event starts, transitions and finishes at the Bay Front Club in East Beach and is followed with a great post race party with catered BBQ. There is a 5K only division included for those interested in run/walking only.

Course Time Limits:
1st 5k Run 9:00 am
1K Swim 10:00 am
2nd 5k Run 11:30 am

Inclement Weather:
The race director reserves the right to alter or cancel portions of the race as deemed necessary for safety reasons. NO RAIN DATE. NO TRANSFERS. NO REFUNDS.

Aid Stations:
Water stations will be located near the 1 and 2 mile marks on the run.

Packet Pick-Up:
Packet pickup will be at the Bay Front Club beginning at 6:30 AM. Athletes must present USA Triathlon membership card at packet pick up or purchase a one-day pass for the run swim run. Transition area will be located on the grass outside the Bay Front Club

Post Race Activities:
The post race awards ceremony and BBQ picnic will be held after the run swim run at the Bay Front Club.
