Brief Description

The run/walk was created to memorialize Dr. Cynthia Lucero, MSPP alumna, who died while running the 2002 Boston Marathon. Dr. Lucero devoted her life to helping others through her work and community service. MSPP continues Cynthia’s legacy through the Lucero Center’s Latino Mental Health Training Program, an initiative to train linguistically and culturally competent mental health clinicians.
