See pictures and route map. This is a trail and beach run. DON'T wear brand, spanking, new shoes!!! The race starts on city streets, progresses to gravel trails gradual downgrade out to reservoir. Woodland trail to beach. Finishes on sand.

FROM HWY. 101: from either direction, at 101/20 intersection, turn east. Go to Eads. Turn north 2 blocks. Registration will be dead ahead. FROM HWY 20 East: go through first Newport light to Eads (2 blocks). Turn north (right) 2 blocks.
