Brief Description

This is the inaugural race hosted by The Peninsula Community Foundation of Virginia on the grounds of The Mariners' Museum. The course is an out and back that travels through Christopher Newport University's campus and the well-known Ferguson Center for the Arts before coming back around through the scenic neighborhoods to The Mariners' Museum. Same Day Registration

Same day registration at the race starts at 7 AM Eastern. CHECKS (or money orders) PREFERRED FOR REGISTRATIONS - PLEASE, NO CASH OR CREDIT CARDS ON RACE DAY. Same day registration checks ($45; $10 age 12 and under) should be made out to: PCF of Virginia.

PRIZE DRAWING!

Tickets will be on sale ($5 for one or $10 for three) for the chance to win AirTran ticket vouchers valued at $1,000! Drawing will be held following the race. You must be present to claim the vouchers. Tickets available to participants AND spectators! CASH only accepted for raffle tickets.

Additional Information

Prize money will be awarded to the top finishers in several categories. All levels of runners and walkers are welcome, as well as wheelchair athletes! Each runner's registration fee will benefit the approved charity of the runner's choice. At the end, the three charities with the greatest number of participants on their behalf will receive additional grant funds. Come out and have a good time while also supporting Virginia Peninsula charities!
