This scenic, mostly flat 3.1 mile course follows the old railroad grade of the former Seattle & Walla Walla line.
The run/walk will start and finish in Lake Boren Park. The route is on a mix of wide trails and paved road. Over half the route is in beautiful May Creek and Lake Boren Parks.
Run/Walk will start sharply at 9 a.m. Packet pick-up and in-person registration is available at the event on August 29th from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. In-person registrations are by cash or check only.
Awards will be given for the Top 3 Mens and Womens overall finishers, as well as Top 3 Mens and Womens finishers by age group. Age Groups are: 14 & under; 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; and 60+
Stay for the post-event fun including music, refreshments, a kid's dash, the awards ceremony and more.
Race results will be available at the event or online.
Directions to Run/Walk: Turn off Coal Creek Parkway onto SE 84th Way (Olympus Neighborhood entrance). Signage will direct you to parking, adjacent to Lake Boren Park.
