About the Regis and Kelly High Heel-a-thon

Women registered for the Regis and Kelly High Heel-a-thon will compete in a 150 yard dash wearing high heels. Prior to the 150 yard dash there will be a mandatory 50 yard dash that will determine participant placement for the final 150 yard dash. Everyone is eligible for potential prizing and is expected to compete in the final dash! See rules and regulations for more details.

About the Lottery

Regular registration is still available at this time. Anyone who wants to register after the High Heel-a-thon has reached its capacity can enter into the lottery for a chance to be selected to participate in the event. The lottery drawing will begin on September 2nd and run through September 17th.

Men's Dash

There will be a separate 50 yd dash for Men. 1st place prize is $1,000. Men are not eligible to compete and win prizing for High Heel-a-thon.

Donations

The $20 price listed above is a donation that is required by all participants. Proceeds from the 2010 High Heel-a-thon benefit the Foundation for the National Institutes of Health in support of The Heart Truth® campaign for women's heart health education and research.

About The Heart Truth® Campaign

The Heart Truth® is a national awareness campaign for women about heart disease sponsored by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute. The centerpiece of The Heart Truth® is the Red Dress, which reminds women of the need to protect their heart health, and inspires them to take action.
