Our weekly workouts will take place in Central Park and will be a combination of run, bike and bricks workouts. Improved pacing, increased endurance and strength & conditionaung will be the over-riding focus of the class. Considerable time and practice will be given over to understanding and mastering the often neglected transitioning.
We will also have ONE Group Swim Workout which will coordinate with and be supplementd by weekly online swim instruction. The swim workout will be MONDAY, July 16th from 6:30-8:00pm. If a stronger swim concentration is desired you can also take one of our fitness level specific, tri-swim classes, offered separately on weekday evenings in various locations in Manhattan and recieve a $25.00 discount. This program is designed for someone who can already swim 500 yards continuosly, run 30 minutes continuously and bike 12 miles continuously - regardless of pace. Ample time will be devoted to race day preparation so that if this is your first triathlon, you will be well prepared and confident come race day.
Fee: $265 w/Out race registration and $450 WITH race registration. YES, even though the race is sold you registration in our training program WILL assure you race entry if you elect.
Days/Times/Dates: Every Tuesday at 6:45pm and Saturday mornings at 7:30am starting Tuesday, July 10th and culminating on Race Day, Sunday, September 23rd. There will be no class September 1st for the Labor Day holiday weekend.
Our group swim workout will be Monday, July 16th from 6:30-8:00pm at Seahorse Fitness located at 69 Columbis Street in Manhattan's Lower East Side.
