Brief Description

The route starts in upper Manhattan & travels throught many different neighborhoods. You will pass and see many landmarks throughout the upper& lower westside of Manhattan.Ex: G.W. Bridge, Grants Tomb, Fireman's Memorial at 100th street, Riverside Church, Intrepid Museum, Empire State Bldg. from a distance and the 911 Memorial Site just before the finish line. Part of the route is along the beautiful Riverside Drive. (Gentle Rolling Hills) THIS IS NOT A RACE, Just a "Great Training Run"

This 14.2 Mile Manhattan Training Run grows in popularity every year. The run starts in upper Manhattan and finishes in lower Manhattan at the north end of Battery Park. The run has many amenities, including 6 water stops, with Gatorade at the last three stops.

For your entry fee you will receive: 19 ounce Cappuccino Cup, Customized Finisher’s Medal,Very Nice Carry on Bag, and a certificate of completion. Once again we are given all participants a colorful and much loved,high quality commemorative Long-Sleeved T-Shirt. All the giveaways feature the “14.2 mile” logo.

As in the past, there will be music along the way. And as always, finishers will enjoy plenty of delicious refreshments at the end of the run. Runners can meet the buses, which will leave from the NORTH END of Battery Park, to take runners to the Start at 6 a.m. sharp ($5 fee). The buses will begin boarding at 5:15 a.m.
