A Run in the Park

The YMCA celebrates its 30th year of the Corporate Cup Run. Come out on December 5th to participate in our Corporate Cup and Kids Fun Run. Join friends and co-workers in 5k course through City Park. After the race,

Packet Pick-up

Team Captains or a representative from each company, must pick up their informational packet at the East Jefferson Family YMCA located at 6691 Riverside Dr., Metairie, La, 70003. Pick up times are as follows: Thurs.,Dec. 2nd and Fri., Dec 3rd from 7am - 7pm. Please note that you cannot register and pick up packets on the same day.

Race Rules

Corporate Cup Team is a 4-person team, at least one must be female.
Runners and walkers only. No strollers.
Wheelchair athletes are welcome.
Open Division is for unaffiliated individuals.
Team identity is encouraged.

Divisions

Teams will enter a division based on the number of employees in their company.
Division I: 0001–100 employees Red
Division II: 101–500 employees Blue
Division III: 501–2000 employees Black
Division IV: 2001+ employees Green
Division V: Open Team Division Purple
Open Division teams will follow same criteria as Corp team except those related to employment. Open Division will have an award category, but will not be eligible for the Corporate Cup Award.

Team Scoring

A team score will be an accumulation of each team member’s finish place. Electronic timing chips will be provided to each registered participant.

Additional Information

Registration Fees:
Team: $80 (up to 4) until Nov 14; $100 until 11/21/09.
Individuals: $20 til Nov 14, $25 thereafter; $25 day of race.
Kids Fun Run Ages 13 and above: $15 until Nov 14, $20 thereafter. $20 day of race.
Kids Fun Run Ages 2-12: $8 until Nov 14, $10 thereafter. $10 day of race.
