Brief Description

The New Braunfels Family YMCA is hosting the second annual St. Patty's Day 5k/10K Run/Walk event. In 2012, 366 racers participated in the race & we anticipate 500 registrants and 300 families to participate at this year's event! This St. Patty’s Day event supports our Y Partners Campaign—a program that provides scholarships to families and individuals so that they may participate in Y programs who otherwise wouldn't be able to financially.

Packet Pickup: Friday, March 15, 2013 from 10a-6p at the NB YMCA Race Starts @ 8:30 am Race Day registration begins @ 7:00 am Zumba Warm-up @ 8:00 am National Anthem and Opening Prayer @ 8:25 am Categories: 5K / 10K / Tot Trot (ages 2-6) and Kids Leprechaun Chase (7-12) Age group and overall winners awards (13-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+) Days Events: Family participation encouraged and welcomed!!! Pets on leash welcomed (best dressed pet wins a prize!) Kids events and games all day Pot ‘O’ Gold grand prize for best St. Patrick’s Day outfit 5 and 10 K chip-timed with event postings and results
