Sleep in for Friendship
This category is for everyone who would like to support The Friendship Club, but can't make the race. Register and we will send you a hat - then you can sleep in on race day! Just let us know your hat color preference - blue denim, dark blue or bright orange (perfect for Giants fans).
Support the mission of The Friendship Club
Founded in 1995, The Friendship Club is a prevention program that helps at-risk girls before they engage in unhealthy behaviors. We teach them life skills, personal responsibility and the value of hard work through a year-around program of educational activities, emotional support and community involvement.
The Friendship Club receives no public funding - so when you participate in the Run for Friendship, you help to ensure that our girls will continue to receive the support they need.

You can race, but can you raise?
Runners or walkers who raise money through sponsorships will receive cash awards for their efforts. Fundraisers can collect checks or cash from their sponsors or they can raise money with their own personal webpage. To set up your page, visit www.firstgiving.com/friendshipclub. Sponsors will be able to donate securely online. This sounds complicated, but is actually very, very easy. If you have questions, contact our Race Director, Shawn Ryley, at shawnr@friendshipclub.org
