Course Discription
Runners & Walkers will enjoy a nice stroll through downtown Nashville and around LP Field. We will start at S. 1st Street & Woodland St. and finish in the parking lot of the Tennessee Titans Football stadium. The Kids fun run will start at 7:45 a.m. along side LP Field. The 5K Run will start at 8:15 a.m.
Complimentry Refreshments by Shoney's
Complimentary fruit and beverages will be available for Run participants at the finish line
Family Fun Games
Kids Fun Zone, Free activties to include, giant inflatables, balloon artists, face painters & more!
Come for the run and stay for the fun, which lasts until noon.
Kids Fun Run/Walk
Fun run/walk beside LP Fields will start at 7:45am, followed by Kid's badge celebration.
Prize Money
Top three male & female finishers will receive the following; 1st place $500 cash & a $500 Shoney’s gift card, 2nd place $250 cash & a $250 Shoney’s gift card and 3rd place $100 cash & a $100 Shoney’s gift card. Badges will be given to all participating kids. Random drawings will also be held for additional prizes throughout the festival (Must be present to win.)
Celebrity Guest
Shoney's announces that Big Poppa Pump Scott Steiner, former WCW and WWA World Heavyweight Champion and one of the Steiner Brothers, six-time WCW World Tag Team Champions, will be participating in the upcoming Shoney’s 2009 5K Family Fun Run.
Steiner, liked the cause enough to not only appear and sign autographs, but to be in the race himself. “’Big Poppa Pump’ is going to put his muscles where the race is: on the streets of Nashville on June 6,” said Steiner. ”
