Brief Description

The 5K will start at 8:00am. The 10K will start at 8:30am. The Volunteer Express 1 Mile Fun Run begins @ 7:30am.

UNISEX LONG SLEEVE TRAINING TEE

Each participant will receive a 4 color front, 2 color back 100% Microfiber long sleeve technical training shirt. This shirt features a smooth silky feel and drape. It is also wrinkle free. This shirt will be one of the best, if not the best, you will receive at a race. PARTICIPANTS WHO RUN BOTH THE 5K AND 10K WILL RECEIVE ONLY ONE (1) LONG SLEEVE SHIRT.

PRE-REGISTRATION AND PACKET PICKUP

Pre-registration and packet pickup will be available Friday, April 12th, 2011 from 11:00 am - 6:00 pm in the lobby of the Purity Dairies Training Center located @ 534 Expressway Park Dr., Nashville, Tn. Follow signs from Murfreesboro Pike. The training center is located at the rear of the Purity Dairies complex - access will be from Expressway Park Dr. only. Race day registration and pickup will open race morning at 6:00am at the race site in MetroCenter.

RUN BOTH 5K AND 10K

The entry fee to run both the 5K and 10K race is $35.00 pre-registration - $40.00 race day. To run both events you will need to finish the 5K in under 35:00 minutes. Participants who run both events will receive "ONLY ONE (1) LONG SLEEVE SHIRT".

Fast, flat certified MetroCenter courses that include both surface streets and the MetroCenter Greenway. 10K - Certification #TN10085MS 5K - Certification #TN10084MS CHAMPIONCHIP TIMING provided by The Nashville Striders. Post race refreshments provided. Door prize drawing for participants prior to award ceremony. Awards will be given to top 3 finishes overall, masters, grandmasters and 5 year age groups from 9 & under to 80 +. Overall male and female winner will receive a 1 year supply of Purity Ice Cream. PROCEEDS WILL BENEFIT "The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. ".
