Refund Policy

No refunds. You may transfer your registration to another runner by requesting a transfer form from request@destinationraces.com and submitting to Destination Races with $20 payment by June 1, 2009

 

Extras

Wine Glass and Tasting:
$15 includes logo glass and wine tasting at post-race festival ($20 at event). Must show ticket on bib ticket at post-race festival to claim glass. Available to registered runners only online but may purchase extra glass for guest. (Limit 2 glasses)
Upgrade shirt option:
$18 for advanced tech running shirt with event logo. In men's and women's styles (retail $38 value). Must be registered for the race to purchase shirt.

Wine Reception:
$15. Friday July 17th 5:30pm to 7:00pm. Join us for a social gathering and race orientation with guest speaker. Wine tasting and appetizers. Location TBA.
Race Dinner:
$50. Saturday, July 18th 6:30pm to 8:30pm Nicholson Ranch Winery. Wine tasting and gourmet pasta dinner in beautiful setting. Guest speaker at 8:00pm

Produced by Destination Races, this popular event is recognized for its scenic course, wine country ambience and weekend events. Now in its sixth year, the Napa-to-Sonoma Wine Country Half runs through the Carneros wine region from Cuvaison Carneros Estate winery in Napa into Sonoma Plaza. Participants receive a beautiful finishers medal, shirt designed by French artist Jean Pierre-Got, goodie bag, and optional logo wine glass and tasting ticket to the post-race Wine & Music Festival. Wine, cash & other prizes will be awarded to the top finishers and each top three finisher in their age group receives a bottle of wine. The race is open to runners & race walkers (no casual walkers please) able to complete the 13.1-mile course in 3hr 15min or less. Teams of 6 or more also compete for a team award & receive $5 off entry fee.

The Course:
Experience one of the most scenic courses in the country! This picturesque USATF certified course starts on the grounds of Cuvaison Carneros Estate Winery. You'll pass thousands of acres of vineyards, ranches, farms, and the Napa-Sonoma Marshes Wildlife Area on the your way to the grand finish down Broadway into Sonoma Plaza.

Wine & Music Festival:
Meet up with your family & friends at the finish line and enjoy the Wine & Music Festival in downtown Sonoma Plaza. Purchase a logo wine glass for tasting of different varietals from renowned wineries in the Napa and Sonoma Valleys, plus massage, awards, live music, vendor booths, food and more!
