Brief Description
Run the perimeter trail of a wilderness island in Lake Superior. Course includes 300 ft Jacobsville sandstone cliffs, lush harwood forests, and remote white sand beaches. Trout Bay section includes some of the most spectacular shoreline in the Great Lakes. 10K course runs along Murray Bay, past Duck Lake and then up into the enchanted forest of the island interior. A long gradual downhill finish at Williams Landing allows a post race swim in Lake Superior for runners in both events.
