Brief Description

All races start and finish at the Comfort Inn on University Park Drive. The 5K Run & 5K Walk stay within the CMU Center for Applied Research & Technology on paved trails and roads. The 10 Mile Run crosses Broomfield Rd and enters park trails at Veits Woods through Mill Pond, Chipp-A-Waters, Nelson and Island Parks (paved and unpaved trails) and returns via city streets through Mt. Pleasant and the CMU campus.

Additional Information

Race day registration and packet pick-up start at 6:45 am. The 10 Mile Run starts at 7:45 am. The 5K Run starts at 8:00 am and the 5K Walk starts at 8:05 am. Awards will be given to the top overall male and female finishers and the top male and female masters finishers in the 5K Run and the 10 Mile Run. The top 3 male and female finishers in each age group will receive awards in both races. All runners and walkers will be eligible for prize drawings. Refreshments and awards following the races in the Comfort Inn Conference Center. The 2012 Live Well Weekend Health & Fitness Expo - Friday, September 21; 4 pm - 8 pm at the Comfort Inn Conference Center. Free admission. R.A.T. Race packet pick-up available. Vendors, demos, family-friendly events including FREE kids' races with t-shirts for ages 10 & under sponsored by McLaren-Central Michigan.
