Join us in a fun, family event to support Minnesota seniors in need. The Run/Walk will start at the Lake Harriet Band Shell. Whether you run,walk or stroll, you will be helping seniors receive a vital program which provides them with parish nursing care, flu shot clinics, and health education offerings.

Additional Information

Since 1996, the Walker Methodist Foundation & Trust have provided parish nursing in south Mpls. A parish nurse is a medica/spiritual resource for health and wholeness. Services are provided free to clients who are unable to receive one-on-one home contact. The parish nurse saves medical costs by recognizing symptoms, averting hospitalization, sustaining independence & care giving, increasing understanding of medical issues, and providing advocacy for those unable to speak for themselves.
