Your Safety is Our Priority

Miles for Migraine is working with Racing Hearts to bring an AED device to sites of greatest risk of sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) such as local schools, school gymnasiums, public recreational facilities and amateur athletics. $1 from each registration fee will be provided to the nonprofit Racing Hearts to have an AED onsite for our event.

Additional Information

We are a concerned group of medical, allied health, and laypersons who have recently formed a non-profit group, Miles for Migraine, where our mission is to: 1. Inform the public about the serious underfunding for research in the prevention, causes, treatment, and cure of headache disorders. Only 5% of federal tax dollars for national medical research are currently allocated through the National Institutes of Health. 2. Provide website links about various headache organizations for further information. 3. Create a fun outdoor event that especially welcomes those with headache disorders who have never tried a walk/run, in addition to their family, friends, and the public.
