Brief Description

Be one of the first to experience the Freaking Freezing Challenge, a unique winter-themed 5k obstacle course that challenges its participants to brave Michigan’s brutal elements and goes beyond your typical obstacle course. We supply participants with the essentials – hat, gloves, and a sweatshirt, but the rest is up to you. Face the freezing Michigan weather and have fun while doing it, we challenge you!

Date & Time

Saturday, February 9, 2013. The first wave will take off at 9:00 AM.

Location

The event will be held at Island Park, 331 Main Street in Mount Pleasant, Michigan.

Amenities

All participants receive a customized sweatshirt, hat, and pair of gloves to defend them against the cold as well as a finisher’s medal once they cross the finish line.

Registration & Packet Pickup

Race day packet pickup will NOT be available. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS. Pre-Race packet pickup will be available at a The Comfort Inn on FRIDAY, February 8. At packet pickup, you will receive your goodie bag, sweatshirt, hat, and gloves plus other materials. You can have a friend or family member pick up your packet for you.

Timing

This event will not be professionally timed and participants will not be provided a timing system, but you are welcome to time yourself. Victory will be completing the challenges and crossing the finish line!

After Party

Upon finishing, runners will be congratulated with a finisher’s mug and a cold beer at the on-site after party to bask in their victory! The after party is taking place at Mountain Town Station.
