Brief Description

Please join us for Ansley's Run. The race is held on the beautiful trails in the Providence neighborhood. There will be a 5k and 1/2 mile family fun run-strollers and bikes are welcome for the little ones. There will be face painting + Anthony the balloon kid! All the money from the race will go to the McLaurin family.

I-40 East From Nashville

Directions from I-40 East: Take the Mount Juliet Rd. Exit 226 and turn right on Mount Juliet Rd. Turn left onto Providence Parkway (located at the corner of Kroger and Holiday Inn Express). Proceed down Providence Pkwy. approximately .3 miles and turn left into the Pet Smart parking lot. Turn left out of the parking lot and walk until you come to Providence Trail and turn right. Go .1 miles and the swim club/starting line is on the left.

I-40 West from Lebanon

Directions from I-40 West: Take the Mt. Juliet Rd exit 226. Turn left off the I-40 exit onto Mt. Juliet Rd. Turn left on Providence Pkwy. Providence Parkway is located at the corner of Kroger and Holiday Inn Express. Proceed down Providence Pkwy. approximately .3 miles and turn left into the Pet Smart parking lot. Turn left out of the parking lot and walk until you come to Providence Trail and turn right. Go .1 miles and the swim club/starting line is on the left.

RACE DAY SCHEDULE

Packet pick up and registration will be at 7:30 and close at 8:15 am 5k will start at 8:30 am There will be a drawing for prizes between races Half mile fun run will start at 9:30

RACE INFO

Race participant numbers will be located at the registration table.You will need your race number to pick up your packet!Bibs and pins will be in your packet!All participants must wear their bib on the front in order to receive a time for the event.There will be NO chip time for this event.Clock time only.Slower runners and walkers are encouraged to start further back.Stroller participants also need to start near the back.

ON SITE REGISTRATION,RESTROOM INFO,PARKING

On site registrants MUST sign a waiver at the registration table. $30.00 race day fee for 5K; $15.00 race day fee for Half Mile Fun Run. Restrooms located in pool house near starting area. Parking will be located in the Pet Smart parking lot. 0.3 miles from the start line.

Additional Information

Ansley is the daughter of Scott McLaurin & Amy Feltner McLaurin. Amy grew up in Mt. Juliet. December 2010 will mark one year when their precious daughter went into the children's ER and came out with a shocking diagnosis: CANCER. Ansley is diagnosed with Pleuropulmonary Blastoma, which is very rare childhood cancer.
