Join us for the first Live FIT 5K Run/Walk to be held in conjunction with the PMA Foodservice Conference & Exposition on Saturday, July 31, 2010 and combine personal achievement with charitable contribution! The Live FIT 5K benefits the PMA Foundation for Industry Talent and is your opportunity to support the future of your industry while committing yourself to live FIT!

Pricing

$35 early registration through July 28 $45 onsite registration, Friday, July 30 and race day, July 31. Please note, entry fees are nonrefundable and nontransferable.

July 30th - Registration and Packet Pickup

Please stop by our booth located in the Lobby of the Monterey Convention Center (One Portola Plaza Monterey, CA 93940) on Friday, July 30, between the hours of 9:00AM and 4:30PM to pick up your bib numbers and tee shirts. All runners will receive a Live FIT 5K shirt and goodie bag.

5K Awards

We will be awarding the top three overall male and female finishers of the race as well as the top two male and female finishers in each age group. The age groups are: 20 - 29; 30 - 39; 40 - 49, 50 - 59; 60 - 69; and 70+.

Performance T-Shirts

The complimentary t-shirt provided for this race is a high end technical, micro-fiber long-sleeve shirt. Please note, the t-shirt does not shrink so there is no need to size up or down.

5K Schedule

6:30 am - Kick-start your race morning with an aerobic warm-up;
7:00 am - Official race start time;
7:40 am - Race wrap-up, recognition and awards

Additional Information

The course is a scenic and vibrant run which takes you past the shops and cannery's of old Monterey. The run traces the paths made famous by john Steinbeck in 'Cannery Row'. You will pass the Monterey Bay Aquarium, the Hopkins Marine Institute, and reach the turn around by spending the time running above the crashing surf. The path starts and finishes on the promenade between Fisherman's Wharf and the Portola Plaza.
