This event was created to benefit the Peace Officer Memorial Group of Stanislaus County (POMG). POMG was created to educate the public about officers who die in the line of duty, to support and assist the families of fallen officers, and to raise public awareness of the Stanislaus County, State and National memorials for fallen officers.
Male and Female categories: 12 and under; 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 plus
All half marathon finishers will receive a medal. Awards given to top three in each age category.
Chief Balentine will be deputizing the participants of the kids fun run. The kids will "Catch the Crook" (the kids will be chasing a runner dressed up in a black/white jail outfit)
Also a Safety Festival with K9 Demonstrations, the Modesto SWAT Team , McGruff the Crime Dog and more

Packet pick-up is Saturday, September 29th from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. at On The Run. On The Run is located at 1700 McHenry Ave in McHenry Village, next to Sunflower Market. You may pick your packet up race morning but we highly encourage you to pick it up Saturday and beat the rush.
Each mile will be dedicated to one of our counties fallen officers and each mile marker will include a picture of the fallen officer. Bands will also be playing along the course to keep runners motivated. Don't miss this flat, fast and scenic course!
