Proceeds benefit Modesto area food banks, and the Modesto Parks, Recreation and Neighborhood Scholarship Program for low income children, seniors, and disabled citizens.
Informally known as the "Help Santa Chase the Grinch out of Modesto" kids fun run. Kids!! help Santa chase the Grinch out of Modesto and save Christmas. Candy canes and medals for all participants 10 and under. Take a free picture with Santa. Kids Fun Run will not be timed.
Bring a canned good or non perishable food item and win a great raffle prize. Raffle tickets are given out on a per item basis. One item = one ticket. 10 items =10 tickets, to a maximum of 10 tickets per person.
Medals for first overall male and female, and first, second, and third place male and female in each age group. All participants in Kids Fun Run receive medals.
Adults: $25/$30 after 11/28 Children 12 and under: $15/$20 after 11/28 Family of 3 to 5: $60/$75 after 11/28
Out and back loop through Modesto Junior College area and Graceda Park area neighborhoods on paved streets.

Early bib pickup is available at the Senior Citizens Center, 211 Bodem St. Modesto Dec. 10th from 12 noon till 7:00 PM. The Center is located on the corner of Bodem St. and Scenic Dr. Race day bib pickup starts at 6:30 am at the Modesto Center Plaza, 1000 L St. in the Magnolia room, lower level 11th street entrance.
