Aid Stations and Nutrition:
Aid stations are located every two miles along the course. Each aid station will have water, energy drink, and a port-a-potty. Gel will be available at miles 15.6 (River Pines aid station) and 23 (Caffe Dolce aid station), or mile 10 (Caffe Dolce aid station) for the half marathon.

Kids Marathon (Adults encouraged to participate as well):
Kids can do it! So can adults and the whole family! Download a registration form and log from www.missoulamarathon.org Prior to race day, walk or run one mile at a time. Mark it on your log. Stop when you have completed 25 miles. On Marathon Day, come run or walk your final 1.2 miles! You have completed the full marathon distance of 26.2 miles!

The Hellgate Village 5K:
is the family fun run on Saturday, July 10th. Register for that by downloading a separate application form at www.runwildmissoula.org, or register on race day at the Missoula Marathon Expo and Registration.

Walkers:
The full marathon course is open 7 ½ hours to accommodate walkers! Walkers for the full marathon must register in the “Walker” category. Starting time is 5 am. There will be no aid stations open until 6 am, so the first hour walkers are unsupported. The half marathon course is open for 6 ½ hours, so there is no separate start time for walkers on the Half Marathon course. We greatly encourage walkers in both events. Log onto www.missoulamarathon.org for our walking training program. * All marathon walkers start at 5 am. You must complete the course by 12:30 pm to have an official time. Anyone starting at 5 am will be excluded from the awards. If you do not register as a walker, you must start at 6 am if you want an official time.

Mile Markers for Sale:
The Missoula Marathon Mile Markers were donated by the Dana Gallery and created by artists from the Dana Galley Missoula, and from other Missoula and Montana professional artists expressly for our event. Each and every one is an original piece of art. Your purchase of one not only gets you an original piece of artwork but supports the Missoula Marathon. They will be on display at the EXPO, along the course, and on-line at www.missoulamarathon.org . Make sure to purchase yours!
