Brief Description

Women Run the Cities® begins with:
Women’s 10-mile Run at 8:00 AM
Girls 1 Mile Run at 8:10AM
Women’s 5K Walk / Run at 8:30 AM. Participants will start and finish their races at Minnehaha Park in Minneapolis. The course allows runners and spectators to enjoy the beautiful parks along the Mississippi River, with the 10-mile course winding through both Minneapolis and St. Paul.

The 5K event is SOLD-OUT!

Thank you to everyone who registered for the 5K run/walk. We are no longer able to take any 5K registrations – not on-line, not at pre-race packet pick up and not on race day.

Our committee is ready for a fun-filled day – highlighting all participants and maximizing the fun! There are a few remaining 10 mile registration spots available – but they are going fast.

Thank you again for making our 5th Annual Women Run the Cities event a success.

10-mile Course

The Start/Finish line on Godfrey Road will be the same for all events. The 5K and 10-mile will be USATF-certified.

Start on Godfrey road; north on West River Road about 4.5 miles to turnaround (about .6 miles north of Franklin bridge); south on West River Road to Franklin bridge, then cross to East River Road; East River Road to Lake Street bridge, then cross Lake Street bridge; south on West River Road to Finish.

5K Course

Start on Godfrey road; north on West River Road 1.55 miles to turnaround; south on West River Road to Finish.

1-mile Course

1-mile
Start on Godfrey road; north on West River Road 0.5 miles to turnaround; south on West River Road to Finish.

  • Saturday, September 24th from 10:00 – 4:00 pm @ Marathon Sports (50th & Penn Ave So)
NOTE: Add 20 extra minutes if you are picking up for members for your team

This is a unique, women and girls only event that includes women professionals who want to be engaged in a healthy lifestyle while also supporting girls in realizing their dreams. The Minnesota Commercial Real Estate Women’s (MNCREW) Women Run the Cities® is designed to encourage women of all ages to engage in a healthy and active lifestyle while promoting networking among professional women in the real estate industry. In addition, a portion of the proceeds from Women Run the Cities® will benefit the Ann Bancroft Foundation’s Dare to Dream mini-grants, which have helped thousands of girls and women in Minnesota.
