Brief Description

Join us for a wonderful jaunt along historic Riverfront Minneapolis in support of public interest practice in Minnesota. The Race for Justice welcomes particpants of all ages and abilities to support the Loan Repayment Assistance Program of Minnesota.

Early Registration

Early Registration EXTENDED TO APRIL 7. Late and Race Day Registrations welcome. Race shirts guaranteed for registrations received by 4/7/10. Adult long sleeve shirts; Youth-sized short sleeve t-shirts for Kids 5-12. Sizes available on first come, first served basis.

Late & Race-Day Registration

Online registration will close the week prior to the Race on April 25th. Race Day registrations are welcome- arrive early to ensure the availability of race shirts. They'll go fast- limited number available on race day!

All Proceeds to Benefit LRAP-MN

The 8th Annual Race for Justice proceeds go directly to the Loan Repayment Assistance Program of Minnesota. Last year the Race raised more than $20,000! By subsidizing education debts for dedicated, low-paid public interest attorneys, LRAP helps meet the legal needs of low-income Minnesotans across the state.

In partnership with Anderson Race Management, we will be utilizing chip timing this year! We hope experienced runners on through casual walkers will enjoy this exciting new development for the Race. And for the experienced runner- we are also pursuing course certification.

Team Competition

Join in the Team fun! Gather a group of your friends and colleagues to compete for bragging rights for largest or fastest team. Each team member must note their team affiliation when they register individually or email lawrfj@umn.edu if added to the team later.

Participant Check-In

Check-in on race day from 7:30 - 8:45 AM in front of the Nicollet Island Pavilion. You'll receive your chip and your race t-shirt at that time. An Early Packet Pick-up will be available Friday, April 23rd from Noon to 6:00pm at the University of Minnesota Law School.

Timing & Awards

Various awards (top male/female finishers, top male/female law student finishers, largest team, fastest team). Results and/or a link to results will be posted on our race website the week after the event.

Parking

Limited parking is available near the Pavilion. Parking is also available around Nicollet Island and near St. Anthony Main. Please do not park in the Nicollet Island Inn lot.
