Brief Description

Join us for a wonderful jaunt along historic Riverfront Minneapolis in support of public interest practice in Minnesota. The Race for Justice welcomes participants of all ages and abilities to support the Loan Repayment Assistance Program of Minnesota.

Early Online Registration

Early Online Registration Deadline: Friday, April 5. Race shirts guaranteed for registrations received by 4/05/13. Sizes/shirts available on first come, first served basis.

Online & Race-Day Registration

Online registration will close at midnight, Wednesday, April 10th, 2013. Race Day registrations are welcome- arrive early to ensure the availability of race shirts. They'll go fast- limited number available on race day! Cash or check accepted for race-day registrations. Kids under 10 may race free but must sign in on race day and sign a waiver.

All Proceeds to Benefit LRAP-MN

The 11th Annual Race for Justice proceeds go directly to the Loan Repayment Assistance Program of Minnesota. The Race for Justice consistently raises more than $20,000 each year for LRAP-MN! By subsidizing education debts for dedicated, low-paid public interest attorneys, LRAP helps meet the legal needs of low-income Minnesotans across the state.

Team Competition

Join in the Team fun! Gather a group of your friends and colleagues to compete for bragging rights for largest or fastest team. Each team member must note their team affiliation when they register individually or email lawrfj@umn.edu if added to the team later. MINIMUM of 5 team members needed.

Participant Check-In & Early Packet Pick-up

Check-in on race day from 7:30 - 8:45 AM in front of the Nicollet Island Pavilion. You'll receive your chip and your race t-shirt at that time. An Early Packet Pick-up will be available Friday, April 12th from Noon to 6:00pm at the University of Minnesota Law School. Kids under 10 may race FREE of charge but must check in before the race and parent or legal guardian must sign the waiver.

Timing & Results

Results and/or a link to results will be posted on our race website the week after the event. In partnership with Anderson Race Management, we will be utilizing chip timing again this year! We hope experienced runners on through casual walkers will enjoy this race perk.

Parking

Limited parking is available near the Pavilion. Parking is also available around Nicollet Island and near St. Anthony Main. Please do not park in the Nicollet Island Inn lot.

Additional Information

Kids under 10 are free. A waiver must be signed at pickup.
