Great Runner Perks! Inaugural year tech-tee, additional General Admission Summerfest ticket (good any day of Summerfest 2011), sponsor swag and a FREE beer! After crossing the finish line, runners will receive a finisher medal and wristband good for entry into Summerfest any time on Sunday, July 10, along with a tab for a complimentary MGD 64 (I.D. required to redeem between 8:00 - 11:00 AM).
Every runner that registered by May 23 will receive their requested tech-tee size. Those who register after May 23 will receive a tech-tee but are not guaranteed their requested size and may receive their tech-tee after the Summerfest Rock ‘n Sole Half Marathon and 10K Run presented by Associated Bank.
A total of $22,000 in cash prizes will be awarded to the top 20 male and female runners in each race, with the top half marathon and 10K payouts starting at $2,500 and $1,250, respectively. An awards ceremony and post-race party will follow the end of the race.
Net proceeds from both runs will equally benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of Eastern Wisconsin, Inc. and Milwaukee World Festival, Inc.; both are 501(c)(3) organizations.
