Run or walk the challenging one mile Schlitz Park Criterium bicycle race course that twists and turns through this historic neighborhood. Awards: Cash to top 3 division finishers. Divisions: M/F Junior (under 20), Open (20 plus) and Masters (40 plus). Registration: Online and onsite on June 26th at 4:30p. Race: 5:30p at intersection of Cherry and 2nd Streets, Schlitz Park. Three-wave start by expected run/walk pace. Chip timed.
Fees: $10 thru Feb. 15, $15 thru May 1, $20 thru race day.

The Schlitz Park Miler is an ancillary event to the 11-day Tour of Americas Dairyland Pro-Am bicycling race presented by Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board. The series rolls into bicycle friendly Schlitz Park, the only corporate complex to host, and features one of the most technical and challenging courses in the entire series. The first half of the spectator-friendly criterium-style race is up hill with a steep section consisting of a city block. The second half is downhill through four technical turns before dumping out into a flat 250 meter sprint. Racing starts mid-day with professional women racing at lunch time and the mens professionals immediately after the Schlitz Park Miler run. www.tourofamericasdairyland.com
