Brief Description

Running For Hope, Inc. is a Christian humanitarian endeavor to provide relief for those in the third world who have lost limbs as a result of war or land mine accidents or some other misfortune. Donations fund the provision of prosthetics and care to address physical, emotional, mental, social and spiritual assistance. Running For Hope is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation registered in Wisconsin.

Registration closes on May 15th, 2012 at midnight CST.

Group registration note

It is best to send email to info@runningforhope.com to explain your details for your group. Group members will sign waiver forms at check-in. Names, age and gender is required for each participant to facilitate race scoring. T-shirt sizes are also required unless you decline t-shirts. Please plan to arrive 20 to 60 minutes before the 5k or 10k race start time to assure efficient check-in.

Additional Information

The May Run is a 5k running event with divisions by gender and the following age groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60+. The 3k walk event will start about 3 minutes after the run. Event will be held rain-or-shine, so at least come and enjoy the treats and refreshments in our tent if it rains! Participants will receive receive the free Running For Hope participant kit (T-shirt, race number, pins) upon check-in at the event. In-person registration is provided on the day of the event at 8:15 a.m., for slightly higher fees (Adult $21, Child $16, Family of 3 or more $52). In-person registration for 5k and 10k runs will close 10 minutes prior to the respective starting gun times of 9:30 and 10:00 a.m. Are event fees tax fully tax deductible? The T-shirt provided to participants has an estimated fair market value of $5.00. The balance of registration fee collected is a charitable contribution to the Running For Hope 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
