Brief Description

This first annual event offers an opportunity for the people of Milwaukee to rally around a cause that is vital to all - water. The funds raised during this event will benefit Engineers Without Borders at University Wisconsin-Milwaukee projects, both locally and globally, including rainwater harvesting projects at urban gardens throughout Milwaukee and multiple water distribution and treatment projects in Guatemala.

Race packets can be picked up race day from 7am to 9am. The race begins at 10am and we invite you to join us for music entertainment and refreshments following the race from 11am to 1pm. Participants who register before August 19th, 2012 will receive a Run 4 Water MKE T-Shirt designed by Milwaukee artist Dominic Heisdorf on race day. Race Entry Fee for the 5K Run/Walk Event is $30 until August 19 and $35 from August 20 until Race Day.
