Brief Description

This event is a 5K through Kinder Farm Park in support of the Driving Miss Darby Foundation. The Driving Miss Darby Foundation supports patients with breast cancer as they participate in clinical trial research. Dash For Miss Darby, an active event for children under the age of 12, will follow the 5K. Due to the varying terrain of this course, no wheels of any kind, please. This is a rain or shine event.

Team Charlotte

The 2010 Run With Miss Darby is held in honor of Foundation friend and benefactor Charlotte Watson, who courageously battled cancer on two fronts. After Charlotte passed early in 2010, her many generous friends and family donated to Driving Miss Darby in memoriam of Charlotte. Charlotte Watson has been our single, greatest local sponsor here in Maryland; we so value Charlotte and her ability to improve cancer research and treatment, even today."

Tee Shirts

All registered runners get an official 2010 Run With Miss Darby race tee shirt! If you register after September 30th, you may not get your first choice of size, but will be able to pick a Medium or a Large on the morning of the event.

Additional Information

Age Divisions are as follows: 13 and Under; 14 - 19; 20 - 29; 30 - 39; 40 - 49; 50 - 59; 60 and up. Prizes will be awarded to top finishers, male and female, in each age group. Separate prizes will be awarded to Overall Winner, Male and Female and Masters Level winner, Male and Female.
