Brief Description


About GFLCF
The Ferrarotti family, in honor of patriarch Gianni, founded the Gianni Ferrarotti Lung Cancer Foundation (GFLCF) in 2004. Since its inception, GFLCF has raised over $70,000 for the Gianni Ferrarotti Lung Cancer Research Fund at the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute. The foundation has also provided over $35,000 in monetary support to numerous families in financial need, affected by lung cancer.

COME RAIN OR SHINE
No skates, bicycles, or pets allowed

Lunch will be provided to all participants after the walk. Popcorn and drinks will also be provided. We will also have various activities after the walk. Activities include: face painting, kids craft table and kid's games.

Register as a team or individual. When registering a child under 13, use your birth date to register.

Organize a group of friends, co-workers or family and have a great time while supporting a great cause. Teams consist of a group of 5 or more runners or walkers. Each team needs to designate a team captain and choose a team name. Pre-registered teams will receive a sign with their team name to carry on the day of the walk.

Age and Gender Grouped Awards

$5.00 admission fee per car

Everyone must register individually regardless of age.

* T-shirt guaranteed ONLY to those registered before September 10.

After entering the park, please allow 15 minutes to arrive at Maple Beach.
