Brief Description

NCCMHC's 2nd Annual 5K Fun Run/Walk in support of May Is Mental Health Month aims to raise awareness of services provided throughout the community for children and families affected by mental illness. The event is sponsored with the generous support and collaboration of the East Bay Family Care Community Partnership (FCCP) member organizations: The East Bay Center, Child and Family Services and East Bay Community Action Program.

Registration & Check-In

Registration and Check-In for Pre-Registered Participants begins at 8:30 a.m. Participants will receive a free event t-shirt to commemorate their participation. THIS IS A RAIN OR SHINE EVENT!

Refreshments and Facilities

Water and Refreshments will be provided at the finish line for all participants. Restroom facilities will also be available at the start/finish.

Children 12 and Under Free!

Children 12 and Under can participate at no cost, and must walk/run with a parent or guardian.

Additional Information

This 5K (3.1 mile) Run/Walk will start and finish at Newport County Community Mental Health Center offices and will feature a quiet and scenic route a stones throw from the coastline of Aquidneck Island. For a route map, please visit nccmhc.org
