Canned Food Drive
Don't forget to bring a canned food donation on Race Day. All donations will go to a family in need.
Race Day Packet Pick-Up
There will be race day packet pick-up starting at 6:00 AM at Tropical Park.
Pre- Race Day Packet Pick-Up
Packets will be available beginning Monday, November 17 - Wednesday, November 26 ONLY at Footworks (5724 Sunset Dr. S. Miami).
*If you are registering online your packet will NOT be available UNTIL the following day!
*If you are registering online on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday, your packet will NOT be available UNTIL the following Monday at NOON!
**If you are registering online on Wednesday, November 26, your packet will NOT be available UNTIL RACE DAY (Nov. 27)!
Pre-Race Day Packet Pick-Up Times
Packets will be available beginning Monday, November 17 - Wednesday, November 26 ONLY at Footworks (5724 Sunset Dr. S. Miami) during store hours except for November 26 which will be until 4:00 PM.
In-Person Registration
There will be in person registration at Footworks (5724 Sunset Dr. S. Miami) starting Monday, November 17, 2008.
Awards
5K and 10K Runs - Top 3 Overall (Male & Female); Top Masters (Male & Female); Top 3 in each age division (Male & Female); Wheelchair - Top 3 Overall (Male & Female); Kids Race - ALL finishers receive a finisher's ribbon.
Age Divisions
The age divisions for the 5K are: 12 & under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & over for both Male and Female.
The age divisions for the 10K are: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & over for both Male and Female.
There is also a Wheelchair Division.
Kids Race: Ages 2 - 9.
Kids Race
The Kids race will include ages 2 through 9. Races will be run in the following order with the following distances:
2-3 years – 50 yards
4-5 years – 150 yards
6-7 years – 0.25 miles
8-9 years – 0.33 miles
All kid participants will receive a Kids race T-shirt.
T-Shirts
A commemorative T-shirt is guaranteed for the first 2,000 participants. Late registration not guaranteed correct sizes on race day.
