Brief Description

Shun the Sun Foundation is dedicated to increasing the awareness of skin cancer through education and prevention, while still living a healthy and active lifestyle. This race was created to help raise that awareness within our community and state where skin cancer has left it’s mark and still continues to do so today. Come join us as we strive to live healthy life styles, while staying active and having a great time with friends and family!

Race Info: This flat and fast course starts just outside of Hohokum Stadium and runs along the graded and paved canals in Mesa. All runners finish the race inside the stadium by crossing home plate where some of the best Cubs players in history have played. Family, friends, a KidZone, a live band, along with plenty of food and health vendors will be along the side lines cheering you on, adding just the right amount of excitement as you finish this amazing race! Online Registration closes November 5, 2012 at 11:59pm Day of Race Registration starts at 5:30am, outside of the Hohokum Stadium entrance.
