Pre Packet Pick up at Iron Gear Sports Thursday Feb. 9th 4:30-6:30pm. 6655 E. McDowell Rd Mesa 85215 (SW corner of Power and McDowell Rd). *regitration available for day of event prices.
Course: It will be on a paved loop through the scenic HILLS of Las Sendas. The 10K will be chip timed by CEP timing. There will be water stations every 2 miles along the course. Bathrooms will be available at the start/finish line. The 1 mile fun run/walk will NOT be chip timed. .
This is a great RAGNAR training course!
Race Day Events:
7:15am Check-in & on site registration (cash) begin
8:20am 10K begins
8:30am Fun run/walk begins
8:00-11:00am Family fun zone $5(includes park, bounce houses, rock wall, face painting -- $1 cotton candy
pancake breakfast $5 or $20 for a family)
Fees
10K $25 (includes shirt and gift bag) if register by January 28, 2011
Fun run/walk $15
*add $5 starting January28, 2011 for 10K registration. Additional $5 price increase for day of Registration (except fun run).
No mail in registration postmarked after Feb. 5, 2011.
Walk up registration available day of event with cash only (shirt not guaranteed).
*children are $5 ($10 and under) and that includes the fun run and kids zone, can be payed day of event.
*strollers & leashed dogs welcome at the back of the race crowd
Timing & Awards:
10K event to be chip timed by CEP Timing. Plaques provided to 10K winners and runner up male & females by age group 19 & under / 20-29 / 30-39 / 40-49 / 50-59 / 60 +. Ribbons Fun Run finishers.
This is USATF sanctioned event w/ certified courses.
*Red Mountain Rd shuts down at 8:10, overflow parking on Eaglecrest, Ridgecrest, or SW corner of Power & Thomas
*No 1/2 Marathon for 2012*
