Additional Information
Run with Wolfes is in its third year of supporting brain cancer research. The race is organized by volunteers and benefits the UW Carbone Cancer Center in Madison, Wisconsin.
In 1999, Jerry & Nancy Wolfe began a golf outing to raise funds for brain cancer research in the memory of their son, Eric Wolfe, who they lost to brain cancer. They have devoted the past 13 years to raising money so brain tumor patients will have a better chance to extend their lives. Eric received his treatment at the UW Carbone Cancer Center and therefore this great clinical and research facility has been designated as the recipient of our efforts.
Run With Wolfes was born in 2010 when Eric's sister, Cara, decided to extend the efforts to include a 5K run/walk.
What makes this event different? It is about family, a sense of community and connection and making a difference for brain cancer patients. We have a passion to raise money for brain cancer research. We hope you will join us in the cause.
