Brief Description

The Oddman is Mt. Bike Duathlon 5k run/ 10 mile bike/ 5k run through the pine forest of Camp Ockinickon in Medford, NJ. The course is well suited for the beginner to intermediate racer. The serious racer will be challenged by two significant climbs. A good race to get out the cobbwebs from the winter downtime and to see where your fitness is now. Also this year there will be a post race BBQ for the racers and family (racers free, others a modest fee to cover costs).

New this year..

Post race BBQ for racers and family and friends (racers free, other a modest fee to cover cost). Traveling from out of town? Stay at the camp in a rustic cabin for $40 includes 2 meals...call YMCA Group Services Director at 609-678-1528 for more details.

Don't forget...

There are a 5k trail run $20.00 and a kids 1 mile fun run with wagon ride to the start FREE. They take place at 10:30 AM. Bring the kids and a buddy without a bike

Why Oddman..

Yes 2nd is the first loser... Awards for 1,3,5 overall and age groups (5 year, M and F). Woody and I placed 3 and 5th a lot. Plus in the days of over priced over teched out races isn't refreshing to go out have some fun with a bunch crazy people in the woods.

FYI...

We won't be mailing out confirmations, you'll get it by emai.l Registration will open at 8:30 am, giving you a chance to pre ride the course. Any questions email doctor.richard.cobb@gmail.com or call 856-296-5829 (that's the Odd phone)

Want to preview the course?

We will be at the camp Friday setting up. The SHOULD be marked. Feel free to show up and preview the course. If you are local, email us or give me a call any weekend prior and we'll probably be available for a ride.

Relays?

No formal relay category is available. But if you want to do it as a team go ahead. Here's the deal.. both enter the race (full fee/racer), you get one number. No awards just the pride in finishing.
