Sign Up for an Online Training Program

The Mclean 5K has teamed up with ActiveTrainer coaches to provide training plans specifically for this race. These plans are designed for athletes of ALL levels, from the first-timer all the way up to the most experienced athlete. Included with your training plan is an online calendar, reporting tools, training calculators, maps, daily emails, and much more!

ChronoTrack Timing and Scoring

Transponder timing operated by Capital Running Company will be used to score the 5K. The system uses a computer "tag" which must be tied to each runners' shoelaces and records the exact time a runner crosses the starting line and the finish line, resulting in a net time for each runner. The D-tag is disposable. Overall awards will be based upon clock time and age group awards will be based upon transponder times

Additional Information

We've partnered with Capital Running Company this year for our race management and race timing services. We will be using the ChronoTrack disposable D-tag timing system! We hope you enjoy the changes and we're looking forward to running, walking, or rolling with you!
