The Human Race is managed by Not-For-Profit Resources. Our mission, “Building Capacity of Nonprofit Organizations” has grown to include:
• Information and referral; matching nonprofit volunteer needs with groups and individuals that are able to help.
• Providing professional development opportunities to nonprofit board members, volunteer managers and other nonprofit staff and volunteers.
• The McHenry County Human Race, a 5K walk/run that show cases the missions of participating organizations, offers volunteer recruitment, relationship building, and opportunities to encourage their supporters to raise money in support of their mission.
