Brief Description

The McDonough Lions Club Run for the Cubs is a family event to raise money for three very important Henry County charities: Connecting Henry, Henry County Department of Parks & Rec Youth Leadership League, & Henry County High School Foundation. Please join us for a 5K and certified 10K course (can be used for seeding at the Peachtree Road Race) and help us to raise funds for very important causes!

Directions:

From I-75, Exit 218(Highway 20/81) towards McDonough. Follow Hwy 81 to the McDonough Square. After passing the Square, continue on Hwy 81. Make a Left on Zack Hinton Parkway (CVS on the corner). Make the first Left onto John Frank Ward Blvd (one way road). The Justice Center is on your Right. There will be plenty of parking in the Justice Center and adjoining parking lots.

Race Day registration begins at 7:00am 5K race begins at 8:00am ($20 race day registration) 10K race begins at 9:00am ($25 race day registration) Thank you for all your feedback from our 1st running! We have taken all of your suggestions and have incorporated them into making this year's race even better. Last year's runners told us that our 10K course is a solid, but challenging run! If you are looking for a new exciting course, this may be the one for you!!
