Additional Information
The 5K Stampede and Scream is run on a fast, moderately flat course in the country setting of northern Howard County. The race starts and finishes on the track of the MRHS staduim, but the majority of the race is run on pavement. 1 and 2 mile splits are marked and times are called. One water station is positioned at approximately 1.5 miles. Some surprises may be encountered along the way. Legend has it that parts of the course are haunted.
The 1-mile Zombie Walk (or run if you prefer) begins directly after the 5K start. This event remains completely within the MRHS campus grounds on a cross-country style course having portions on grass as well as paved surfaces. It too starts and finishes on the track of the MRHS stadium. This course has been certified to be un-haunted, however participants must beware of the witches den in the back forest !
