Brief Description

Join us for a 1 mile fun run and (an even more fun) 5k race, winding through downtown Marine City just before the second day of our Maritime Days festival opens. If there's a freighter going by as you're running along the river, feel free to race it!

Additional Information

There will be fabulous prizes for top finishers of the 5k in each age category (for men and women). We'll also have a photographer or two on hand to capture your smile as you cross the finish line — woo-hoo! There will be a refreshment table at the end of the 5k race consisting of a free banana and bottled water for each runner, along with some other delicious and nutritious treats from Mamma Chia and Buddy Fruits. And fully stocked goodie bags... did we mention goodie bags?! Oh, and a short-sleeved commemorative tee for the first 100 runners to register. The race will be managed by Day One Run, with shoe tag chip timing by Hansons Running. More details on the route will be provided closer to race day.
