Brief Description

Transfigurations’ youth program participates in Mission trips every summer with the goal of serving the neglected, broken hearted, and less fortunate. Each year we take over 150 teens out of Marietta to revitalize communities and beautify homes for the elderly and disabled who cannot afford needed repairs. The proceeds for the Mission Run 5K and 1 Mile walk/run will be used to offset some of the cost of our 2013 trips and ensure our mission work to provide better lives continues.

Schedule of Events

6:30 a.m. – Race Day Registration and Pre-Registered Number Pickup
7:30 a.m. – 1 Mile Start time
8:00 a.m.– 5K Run start
9:45 a.m. – Presentation of Awards

Awards

5K Awards: presented to the Top three Mens/Boys and Womens/Girls finishers in each age group.

Pre/Post Race Activities

PreRace ZUMBA Warm-up exercises. Post Race refreshments snack, Raffle, and Awards.

Race Day Registration Increase

The price of the 5k will increase to $30 on Race Day. Please register early and save.

1 Mile Free for 5 and Under

The 1 Mile race is free for children ages 5 and under.
