Brief Description

The 10th Annual Gobble Jog is coming soon and “It’s Kind of a Big Deal!” Join us as we push toward 10,000 runners at MUST Ministries’ largest fund raiser and friend raiser! While you are running (or walking), your donation will be helping more than 33,000 people struggling in poverty. Come be a part of something important…something that changes lives. Your Thanksgiving Day will have new meaning!

Race Day Schedule

  • 7:00am - Registration & Packet Pick-up
  • 8:00am - 10K Run
  • 9:15am - 1K Run/Walk
  • 9:30am - 5K Run/Walk
  • 10:30am - Tot Trot

    • VIP Runners

    Go the distance to help your neighbors in need even more and be a VIP runner! The first 100 runners paying $50 to run will receive VIP treatment from the Marietta Daily Journal, including admission to the MDJ tent, upgraded race shirt, access to premium post race snacks and beverages. You are helping to transform lives! The registration fee is $50 either the 5K or the 10K.

  • Timed 10K & 5K - $27 to 10/31; $33 - 11/1 to 11/18; $40 - 11/21; NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION for TIMED RUNNERS
  • Untimed 5K Run/Walk - $22 to 10/31; $28 - 11/1 to 11/18: 11/21 - $35; Raceday - $40
  • 1K Run/Walk - $22 to 10/31; $28 - 11/1 to 11/18; $30 - 11/21; Raceday - $35
  • Tot Trot - 5 and under - $15 to 10/31; $20 - 11/1 to raceday - $20
  • Phantom Gobbler - $25 to 10/31; $30 - 11/1 to 11/22.
  • Online Registration closes on Sun., Nov. 18th at midnight.

    • Race Number Pick-up

    Runners are encouraged to pick-up their race number on Wednesday, November 21st at First United Methodist Church of Marietta in the gym. Race number pick-up is from 3:00pm to 7:00pm. The churchs address is 56 Whitlock Avenue, Marietta, GA 30064

    What is a Phantom Gobbler?

    Want to support the cause but have to stay home and cook the turkey? Sign up as a "Phantom Gobbler" and MUST will mail your well-deserved race shirt after the race.

    WANT TO BE A TEAM PLAYER?

    Team members can participate in any race division.

    Teams of 10+ can receive a $2 discount off applicable entry fees. To receive this discount, join an established team online at www.active.com (team captains should create a team when they registed for the race) or mail all team registration forms together to the following address (postmarked by 11/14/11):

    Team Captains

    Team captains will first need to create a team by clicking the yellow "Create Your Team" button below the green "Register Now" button at the top right corner of the screen. Once you create your team, then you will need to register yourself for the event.

    Team Members

    Select "Register Now" from above and pick the "Team Registration category (race) that you are registering for. Then select your Team Name from the drop down box on the registration form and continue through the registration process.

    Additional Information

    Awards for the 5K & 10K to the Overall & Masters M/F finishers, and top 3 M/F finishers in age groups 14 & under to 70 & over.

    All Run & See Georgia Participants must register as “Timed” participants in the 5K and/or 10K to receive points toward the series.

    The Gobble Jog 5K and 10K are certified as qualifiers for seeding in the Peachtree Road Race.
