Description
The Headwaters Relief Organization Run with a Purpose 5K is a Run and Walk event to support children and families in need when natural disaster strikes. Funds raised may help feed children at an orphanage in Haiti, provide mental health services to survivors of Hurricane Sandy in New Jersey, provide relief to Minnesotans after flooding, tornadoes, and other disasters.
Again this year, you have an opportunity to participate in both the 5K and in the fundraising campaign. This is YOUR opportunity to help people rebuild their lives after disaster strikes.
Event schedule and times
The race start, finish and parking will be at the Chipmunk Shelter, which is at the end of the park road (3 miles from the park entrance). www.threeriversparks.org
