Brief Description

Join us for the 2012 Mammoth Mud Run - a challenging 6K filled with various obstacles, mud pits, and more.

Features

• 6K Obstacle Mud Run Course
• 10am start
• Ages 13 & over
• Race as individual or part of a 4-person team
• Medals to top timed finishers
• Receive an event t-shirts if you register by August 19 (if you register after Aug 19 may purchase a t-shirt at a discounted rate; t-shirt not included in Mini Mud Run entry)
• Start and finish in The Village at Mammoth
• 1K Mini Mammoth Mud Run (ages 5-12) - 12:30pm start

• Mammoth Rocks - A Taste of the Sierras kicks off Friday, August 24 and goes through Saturday, August 25

Course

Get ready for some clean dirty fun on our 6K course! The obstacles have been designed to provide a fun course for people of all abilities and are truly "Mammoth Made"!
Start and finish in The Village!

Entry Fees

Run as an individual or part of a 4-person team. Team captain registers all team members online.
Please note: Entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Prices are per person.
Mammoth Mud Run - $65 until August 19, $75 after and on-site.
1K Mini Mammoth Mud Run (ages 5-12) - $15 until August 19, $25 after and on-site.

BY AIR
Alaska/Horizon Airlines offers daily non-stop flights from Los Angeles (LAX) this summer. Call 800.MAMMOTH or click here for more information or to make reservations. Complimentary airport shuttles from/to Mammoth-Yosemite Airport when you stay at any Mammoth Mountain property. Ask for more information when talking to an agent.

By Car

From Southern California
You'll pass Death Valley, Mount Whitney & the Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest. Take I-5 north to State Route 14 north to US 395 north to State Route 203 (300-375 miles).
From San Francisco
Arrive via Yosemite National Park to US 395 south to State Route 203 (320 miles).
From Nevada/Lake Tahoe
Drive through miles of scenic backcountry, Bodie State Historical Park and Mono Lake. Take US 395 south to State Route 203 (165 miles)

By Car (cont)

From Las Vegas
Tour the deserts interesting rock formations and old gold mining towns. One of several options is US 95 north to Hwy 266 west; turn slight left to State Route 168 to US 395 north to State Route 203 (310 miles).

Awards

Unique awards will be given to the top 3 overall finishers as well as the top 3 in each division for the morning events.
Prizes are also awarded to:
• Best individual costume - male and female
• Best team costume
• Best team name
Get creative!

Team Captain Instructions

If your original team members disband, you can still have fun! Here are your choices:
Replace your missing team member(s) by having them sign a waiver on site at the registration tent
or switch your remaining team members to race as timed individuals.
Come to the registration area at packet pickup or on race day to make the change.

Transfers and Refunds

We’re sorry, but there are no event refunds and individual entries are non-transferable. Team substitutes are allowed – please see the Team Captain instructions above.
