Brief Description

Welcome to the 1st Annual "Rockin Mad 10k Challenge"' in Lynn, MA. We welcome all levels and encourage team support and participation. The Rockin Mad is a challenging 10K off road run through Lynn Woods with hills, tire obstacles, 5-foot walls, hay bails, Steeple Chases, etc.. Race individually, within your age division, or as a member of a 5-person team.

Registration

Online Reg. is now Closed. Registration will be available tomorrow at Lynn Woods (62 Great Woods Rd, Lynn) from 12-5. Also Race Morning beginning at 9:30am-10:45am.

Registration (INDIVIDUAL or TEAMS of FIVE)

Sign up individually or with a team!! Team Categories: Male, Female, Co-Ed, Fire/EMS/Police, Military, Boot Camp!! Today through Aug 15th- $40 individual, $200team.... Aug 16th-Sept 12th $45 individual, $225 team Sept 13th-Oct 2nd $50 individual, $250 team... Race Day-$60 individual, $300 team

RULES

1) Everyone must sign a waiver BEFORE race day! If you registered on Active you are all set. If you mailed in your registration you had to sign the waiver. There are NO team subsitutions or bib transfers unless they sign a waiver and fill out a registration form. 2 ) Every obstacle MUST be completed by everyone or you are penalized - some form of physical challenge. 3) Good sportsmanship is a MUST. 4) If there are lines at obstacles BE PATIENT!!

Team RULES

1) EVERY TEAM MEMBER must complete the entire course & all obstacles. 2) EVERY TEAM MEMBER must cross the finish line TOGETHER (with the team captain LAST) for the team to qualify for prizes. 3) All team members must sign the event waiver. 4) Each team member must present their valid photo ID on race day at packet pick up. NO I.D. = NO RACE!! If any rule is broken your team will be DISQUALIFIED. (Please note: there is a 2 hour 45 minute time limit on the completion of the course.)

RACE REFUNDS

Sorry, there are no race refunds and race numbers are non-transferable. In order to maintain the number of 5-person teams in this event, we do allow team member substitutions. You can make the substitution using the online waiver or do it on race day. There is no charge for a team member substitution (VALID PHOTO ID IS REQUIRED RACE DAY). No dogs, baby strollers, or children under the age of 15 are allowed on the course. However, all are allowed at the race site

AWARDS

Awards given to overall male and female winner..1st place team in each category, and top three in each age division. Under 19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59,60-69, 70+

Charities

A portion of the events proceeds will be allocated to two organizations! Local organization, Operation Troop Support in Danvers MA, and the Wounded Warrior Project, a national organization. Operation Troop Support is an organization that serves our deployed men and women in uniform from across the country. The Wounded Warrior Project has a mission to honor and empower wounded warriors.

CASH PRIZE

First place Overall Male and Female and First Place Team will be awarded a cash prize...amt. to be determined!

TECH SHIRTS

Post Race Activities

Music by DJ Lanie Mac, Plenty of Food and Drinks will be available.

Packet Pick Up

October 2nd - 12pm-5pm at Lynn Woods (race site) Great Woods Road Entrance. Also RACE DAY 9:30am-10:45am.

Timing Chip Pick Up

RACE DAY ONLY!!! 9:30am-10:45am. You will see the tent with a large sign. The Chip MUST be worn on your ankle for accurate timing!

The race is limited to 525 participants so please register early as we expect to sell out.
