Brief Description

The Girls on the Run 5K (3.1 mile) is a non-competitive family-friendly fun run/walk event. Whether you are one of our current or former GOTR participants, a family member, friend or just a community member who wants to join us in celebrating healthy living, we look forward to seeing you.

Note: Girls registered as participants at one of our Spring 2013 GOTRSV program sites do NOT need to register separately for the 5K event - it is part of the program.

Additional Information

Proceeds from the 5k event will benefit the young girls in our after school programs, which educate and prepare girls for a lifetime of self-respect and healthy living. Girls on the Run of Silicon Valley is a non-profit organization providing programs to 1,400 girls in Santa Clara and Santa Cruz counties each year - up to 20% of whom receive scholarships or reduced fees to participate. The GOTR 5k is NOT a timed event - everyone gets a #1 bib and everyone is a winner!
